BPTT BEGINS GAS PRODUCTION FROM SAVONETTE

BP Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) today announced the start of natural gas production from the Savonette field, offshore Trinidad. Savonette is located in 290 feet (88 metres) of water approximately 50 miles off Trinidad’s south east coast. BPTT holds a 100 per cent interest in the field.
Production from the platform is tied into bpTT’s Mahogany B platform, via a 26-inch diameter 5.3 mile subsea pipeline, where the gas is processed and then exported into bpTT’s existing infrastructure. Gas from Savonette will supply…
